Today, we are thrilled to share some exciting news that marks a significant milestone in our journey together. After months of hard work and anticipation, we are proud to unveil the refreshed look of Agua del Sol, representing a bold step forward in our commitment to authenticity, collaboration, and celebrating the diversity of traditional agave spirits from Oaxaca.

Our Roots Run Deep: A Co-op Spirit

Since the inception of Agua del Sol, our mission has been to make traditional agave spirits accessible to local communities. Rooted in the principles of collaboration and sustainability, we operate as a co-op, representing independent producers from various corners of Oaxaca. This cooperative spirit allows us to showcase the rich tapestry of flavors that define traditional agave spirits, each bottle telling a story of community, tradition, and culture.

Introducing Our Identity Update

We set out to develop a recognizable brand, positioning Agua del Sol as an unparalleled source of exciting single batch agave spirits for the international market. Our identity update reflects the essence of Agua del Sol —a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, diversity, and unity. It represents more of our roots in Oaxaca where indigenous women have developed the art of woven palm fibers. 

In the spirit of cooperation, our updated identity was a collaborative effort with studio photographer, graphic designer and agave educator, Gabriel Velazquez Zazueta of Tuyo NYC. As a reward for reading this far, here is an exclusive video of Gabo discussing his experience. 

What's New?

• Revitalized Packaging: The redesigned packaging captures the authenticity of our agave spirits and identifies these spirits as limited, singular expressions with a traceable connection to the place, process, and people who crafted them.
• Enhanced Messaging: We've refined our messaging to better communicate our commitment to community, tradition, and the unique stories behind each bottle.
• Interactive Experiences: Stay tuned for upcoming tasting events, industry trips, and glimpses into the production process of our most limited releases.
